What it's like to work while traveling in a Tesla around the world

The idea of traveling the world while working sounds amazing, but doing it for real, professionally and connected requires more than desire. On EchoRoute I combine two worlds: a long-distance Tesla journey and a weekly work agenda with meetings, content production and strategy for clients.

1. The key: high-speed internet wherever you are

One of the biggest challenges of working while traveling is having a stable connection. That's why I decided to invest in Starlink, SpaceX's satellite internet system.

It works in rural or mountainous areas where there's no mobile coverage. Speeds similar to home Wi-Fi (100-200 Mbps). Enables video calls, cloud editing and heavy uploads without cuts. Plug and play: install it wherever you are and you already have a connection.

While the car charges, I work with Starlink from a portable table or even from the Tesla itself.

2. Charge while you work: make the most of every stop

One of the advantages of electric travel is that stops aren't wasted time. Quite the opposite.

Many chargers are at ports, shopping centers, hotels or quiet stations. While the car charges, I connect, make video calls or edit content. There are even places with shade, tables or bathrooms, making it an improvised mini coworking space.

3. The Tesla as workspace

Although I prefer working from the Airbnb where I stay Monday to Friday, there are days when I need to respond quickly. And the Tesla itself makes it possible.

Comfortable and reclining seats. Silent and constant climate control. Perfect audio system and microphone for calls. USB-C ports to charge laptop or phone. Quiet space, no external distractions. Total privacy with thermal curtains.

In Camp Mode, you can maintain a stable temperature for hours without worrying about engine noise.

4. My weekly work routine on the road

Monday to Friday I stay in a comfortable Airbnb, with a good desk and Wi-Fi. Saturdays and Sundays I use them to move, film content and explore new places. During transfers, if the place allows, I take advantage of charges to work. On long stretches, I plan strategic stops at places with good surroundings. If an unexpected meeting comes up, I settle in the car and do it from there.

5. The combination that makes it possible

Tesla Model 3: electric mobility + interior comfort + range. Starlink: satellite connection anywhere. Juice Booster: flexible charging from any outlet. Airbnb: weekly stability with Wi-Fi. ABRP / PlugShare: optimized routes. Laptop + USB Hub: full remote productivity. Thermal curtains: privacy and light control inside the car.

Conclusion

Working while traveling is no longer just for nomads with backpacks and public cafes. Today you can have a real and comfortable office in motion, with clean energy, satellite connection and a car that doesn't just take you places, but accompanies you through the entire process.

On EchoRoute, this is the essence: showing that you can work seriously while discovering the world. There's no more inspiring office than one with new views every week.
