NEO: MY TESLA MODEL 3
My Experience Buying a Tesla!
SEPTEMBER 2022
How was my first Tesla test drive?
During the pandemic, I discovered electric mobility online — and it instantly hooked me. I did tons of research and found out about the possibility of having a car that doesn’t pollute, helps save money (a lot), and is safer and more comfortable to drive.
In 2022, I finally got to test drive a Tesla. The feeling was unreal.
From that day on, I knew it would be my next big investment.
JULY 2023
How was the Tesla buying experience?
After that first test drive, I dreamed of traveling differently — with an electric vehicle.
In July 2023, I found a special offer on Tesla’s website for the Model 3… and I took it.
I couldn’t believe how smooth it was: in just 5 minutes, I had completed the purchase entirely online. Financing approved, and everything managed from their app.
Delivery was set for August. I just uploaded the documents through the app and Tesla handled the rest.
Honestly, it felt like buying a phone — that simple. Their innovation doesn’t stop at the car — it’s in their whole process.
AUGUST 2023
What was the delivery of my Tesla like?
Tesla provides you with the date and time to show up for your delivery. Once there, you need to have the app configured on your phone to control the vehicle. Multiple cars are delivered at the same time (as seen in the video), so they conduct a group session to teach you how to use and charge the vehicle. Finally, they offer a personalized session if you need assistance with driving the car.
Perhaps, as I write these lines, I understand it better now. That day, I was simply fascinated by everything that came after the purchase. In fact, while uploading this video, it’s the first time I’ve rewatched it, and I hear my mom at the end saying: ‘Congratulations.’
PS: Jelena wasn’t present because, that same week, she had traveled to Serbia to visit her family and was arriving that night.

MY CONCLUSIONS
Thanks to the offer I received, the Tesla cost us €32,000 + VAT, and honestly, compared to any combustion car, it feels like a gift. Now, let my explain why.
In just one year, I traveled 33,000 km. In fact, I took a trip to Poland, passing through 4 countries and covering more than 6,000 km. During those two months, I saved nearly €4,000 on fuel, and that’s when I truly realized all the possibilities it offered me.
That saving allows me to cover the car’s financing payments, which practically makes it cost us nothing because, otherwise, that money would have been spent on fuel for my previous car. And there’s more: being electric, it doesn’t require constant visits to the mechanic for checkups or repairs.
Additionally, I appreciate its ease of handling, the advanced technology it offers, and how practical it is that the car calculates the route and indicates where to stop for charging. I also don’t need to visit gas stations anymore, as it charges overnight at home while I sleep, making my lives so much easier.
This is just a summary of the many advantages I’ve found so far.

ECHOROUTE LINKS
Here are two useful links: one to book a free test drive, and another if you’re interested in buying a Tesla yourself (as I mentioned, the process only takes a few minutes and it’s all online).
Just a note — I don’t have any official support from Tesla and haven’t received any reply after sharing my project. From what I’ve read, they don’t work with marketing or sponsorships.
Still, I’m 100% happy with my experience.
If you use these links, you’ll get perks like charging discounts — and so will I. It’s a win-win.
At the moment, there’s also a €500 discount on purchases. That’s why I’m sharing it — it helps us both.
